Today's delightful highlights cover the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. You will be suggested to have Beijing Roasted Duck for dinner at a famous restaurant, followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

Today's Activities: Badaling Great Wall- Sacred Way- Ming Tomb- Olympic Stadium

There is an old saying: " He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true man", so today we will visit the Badaling Great Wall. After lunch visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. On the way back, we can overlook both the National Stadium - the " bird Nest" and National Aquatics Center - the Water Cube.

Today's Activities: the Terra Cotta Warriors- Big Goose Pagoda- Banpo Village Museum 

After breakfast, we will visit the Eighth Wonder of the World -the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Afeter lunch, visit the Big Goose Pagoda and Banpo Neolithic Village Museum. In the evening, you can choose to enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Today's Activities: Chengdu - Leshan Grand Buddha - Emei city   

Our guide will pick you from hotel in Chengdu at around 9:00 am and then drive to Leshan Grand Buddha. After lunch, we will visit the Grand Buddha by walking up to Lingyue mountain, have a very close to see the Buddha. You can still take a boat to see the whole Buddha.After lunch, drive to Emei city, check in and have a good rest. Overnight Emei Shan Hotel.

Today's Activities: Golden Summit - Chengdu

Early Monring go to see sunrise at Golden Summit, visit the Huazang temple, or you can take the local small train to Wanfo Summit, in a clear day you will see the Gongga Mountain which is the highest peak in Sichuan, called 'the King of Shu'. After lunch take sightseeing bus down to the foot of Mt.Emei, drive back to your chengdu hotel and have a good rest.

Today's Activities: Giant Panda Breeding Base- Sanxingdui Museum

In the morning visit Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base. The base is located on the mountain of Futoushan in the northern suburbs of the city, where you can see pandas bred in nature. After lunch, visit the Sanxingdui Museum. It is a modern museum located in the northeast of the Sanxingdui Remains, which are composed of several large relic areas. The areas are the largest, most important and elegant ancient Shu cultural relics sites in Sichuan covering 12 square-km in total. Life went on here about 2,800 to 4,800 years ago, equivalent to the late Neolithic Age.

Today's Activities: Take a flight to Lhasa

Take a flight from Chengdu to Lhasa. Arrival at the holy city of Lhasa, capital of the mystical Buddhist Kingdom of Tibet. You are greeted by tour guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure for you to relax and adjust to the high altitude.

Today's Activities: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhore Street

Tour starts from the religious Potala Palace built in the 7th century by the famous Tibetan king-Songtzen Gampo. The present one was built by the 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century. It became known as the "Winter Palace" by the 1750, when the 7th Dalai Lama built the Norbulingka Park as his summer residence. After lunch, you will visit Jokhang Temple, situated in the old section of Lhasa. King Songtzen Gampo built this temple in the mid-7th century A.D. Now it is the most sacred place in Tibet. Pilgrims come here to pay homage from all over Tibet. Visit Barkhore Street in the evening.

Today's Activities: Yamdrok-tso Lake, Pelkor Chode Monastery

Drive to Gyantse after breakfast. On the way, dazzling Yamdrok-tso Lake can be seen from the summit of the Kamba-la pass(4794m). Yamdrok is one of Three Holy Lake in Tibet. When you arrive at Gyantse, visit Pelkor Chode Monastery. The Monastery is founded in 1418, notable for its superb Kumbum Chode(10,000 Images Stupa). Later transferred to Shigatse.

Today's Activities: Rongbu Monastery, Mt. Everest

Early morning start driving to Rongphu via Lhatse and Shegar, cross over Gyatsola & Pangla Pass, where you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day.
Rongphu is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt.Everest. Afternoon start trekking from Rongphu to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take a local sight seeing bus(pay by yourself). Overnight at Rongphu guest house. (dorm bed)

If you are lucky enough, you will see sunrise at E.B.C. Late morning start driving back to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.

Today's Activities: Tashilunpo Monastery

Morning visit the Bachen Lama Set - Tashilunpo Monastery, which was Built in1447 by the first Dalai Lama. Then the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa along Yarlong Tsangpo river by the Nepal friendship road. Overnight at Lhasa.
