Crossing throughout Ganzi and Aba from a lower elevation to high plateau, tourists can see everything of the plateau scenery. It`s a tour featuring adventures, we will cross 7 major snow mountains over 4000m. Crossing over the snow mountains is not a nightmare at all, on the contrary, you will see the spectacular scenery on the way.

Mt. Erlang, Luding, Kangding, Xindu Bridge, Mt. Zheduo, Mt. Gaoershi, Mt. Jianziwan, Mt. Haizi, Litang and Daocheng grassland, Sichuan-Tibet highway, Danba, Mt. Siguniang, Mt. Balang and so forth are all all as beautiful and magnificent as photos that you have browsed on the websits or magzines.The beautiful natural scenery in Daochengdu and Yading will make you surprised.

Itinerary

Day01: Chengdu - Dujiangyan Irrigation System - Mt. Balang - Mt. Siguniang - Danba,overnight in Danba (1900m)

Depart Chengdu in the morning, drive to Mt. Siguniang, pass Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Wolong Nature Reserve, cross over Mt. Balang (4600m) and Rilong town, then drive to Xiaojin arrive at  Danba county. The duration cost 7-8 hours,with a ride of 300km drving of the tar-covered road. Overnight in Danba, Xinmao hotel or Meirengu (beauty Vally) hotel  or other same standard hotels  with air-conditioned rooms and independent water closet (Deluxe) (L+D)

Day02: Danba-Bamei-Tagong-Xindu Bridge-Yajiang, overnight in Yajiang (2700m)

After breakfast, depart Danba, enter the Donggu (Eastern Valley) scenic spot, drive to Baimei & Tagong grassland, and visit Xindu Bridge, cross over the Mt. Gaoershi (4000m), overnight in Yajiang hotel for Deluxe standard (air-conditioned and with independent water closet). (The elevation of day 1 and day 2 are fairly low for making tourists adapt with the forthcoming higher.)(B+L+D).

Day03: Yajiang - Litang - Daocheng, overnight in Daocheng (3700m)

Drive to Daocheng after breakfast, cross the Mt. Jianziwan, Mt. Kaizila and Litang, Daocheng grassland, see the famous Mt. Haizi. In this route, we see the spectacular Sichuan-Tibet Highway, snow mountains, plateau glacier and grassland. There is approximately 6-7 hours drive with a distance of about 300kms.  The roads are all tar-covered except for the section frome Litang to Daocheng about 40kms.   Overnight in the best hotel - YaDing hotel with 3 star standard, which was built in May. 2003. (B+L+D)

Day04: Daocheng - Riwa (The last Shangrila) village - Chonggu Temple - Luorong Pastur),overnight in tent of Yading Nature Reserve (3750m)

Drive to Yading Nature Reserve passing Riwa (Shangrila) village after breakfast,  we have to drive 80kms on the gravel road. Then we  arrive at the portal of Yading Nature Reserve, horse-riding to Chonggu Temple, see the scenery of Chonggu Temple and holy peak Xiannairi, and continue riding to Luorong Pasture, see the other holy peaks Yangmaiyong, Xiannairi and Luorong Pasture (the round horse-riding cost excluded, approximately RMB130/p.p), overnight in Yading (Tips: there are only several wooden houses outside of valley with poor facilities so it is not worth  horse riding 4 hours back. You are suggested to stay  overnight in Chonggu Temple or camp there.). In the Nature Reserve, the meals are just  "solid food" or box meals  brought  by the tour guide from Chendgu or Daocheng.(B+L+D).

Day05: Yading Nature Reserve - Daocheng, overnight in Daocheng (3700m)

After breakfast, visit the Yading Nature Reserve, then horse riding back, drive to Daocheng, overnight in Daocheng. (B+L+D)

Day06: Daocheng - Kangding, overnight in Kangding (2000m)

Drive back after breakfast, en route pass Litang, Yajiang, Xindu Bridge arrive Kangding (500km). Deluxe standard tourist overnights Kangding Transportation hotel or Kangding hotel (one of the few best hotels).

Day07: Back to Chengdu

Visit Mt. Paoma of Kangding after breakfast (ropeway 30 excluded), visit in Kangding urban thn drive back Chengdu in the afternoon,end our tour.(B+L)

2008: Every Saturday for Joint Fit gruop.Private group leaves anytime you are convenient.

Notes

1.The temperature varies greatly and sunshine can be very strong, please bring jackets, sunburn cream, medicine for altitude sickness etc.
2.As we travel in Tibet area where the economy much more backward than other place, the diversity food is limited,so we suggest you order food by yourself or take some solid food.Most of local restaurant only can offer the simple Sichuan and Tibetan Dish.
3.The price is just for 1 bed in a standard room, if you want to occupy a whole room you should pay the single supplement for the other bed.
4.For avoiding the altitude sickness, please don`t do violent exercises, drink more water and rest as much as possible after sightseeing.
5.We suggest you don`t go outside of your hotel during the night.
6.Most of the time you will enjoy the beautiful views in the car, and the driving hours are very long in this tour.
7.Tourists should take the high plateau altitude into consideration, if unexpected accident(injury, death etc.) happen, the Insurance Company will compensate according to the regulations not our company.
8.Aba and Ganzi prefecture is short of  water, some hotels can not provide enough hot water for bathing but you won’t have problems in cleaning your mouth and face.
9.Valid time：Prices are valid until June 30th, 2008, May day holiday( from Apr. 30th to May 7th) excepted.after June,the price would be 400RMB higher as the hot season coming.
10.Minor program changes sometimes are necessary, depending on road conditions, weather and availability of room.
11.Health consultation from your doctor before you come to highland(Over than 3000M).
