Ticket price of train from Beijing to Lhasa is even cheaper than bus, said Sun Yongfu, undersecretary of Ministry of Railways when visited Sina.com.cn yesterday evening.

Sun didn't tell the final train fare. "Price delivered to state government by railways ministry is not expensive. Special price will probably be fixed for Golumd-Lhasa section." told by Sun Yongfu.

Considering the disadvantage of Tibet, train ticket of Qinghai-Tibet Railway will be put into an national uniform price without additional cost to lighten local people's burden. Common Tibetans can shoulder this price which is cheaper than bus, according to Sun Yongfu.

Sun also told that, cost of sleeper and cushioned sleeper will be little higher based on the national uniform price. Price of special luxury tour train cooperated with international firms will be reconsidered in the future.
