With a total length of 1956 kilometers, Qinghai-Tibet Railway ranks the longest plateau railway in the world. Starting east from Xi'ning, capital of Qinghai province and ending in Lhasa, capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region, the Qinghai-Tibet Railway is as famous as the Great Wall in China.
