Visa extensions in Tibet

If you have a tour booked, you can take the details to the PSB in Lhasa and they will extend it for the duration of your trip and add 4 days or so to give you time to leave the country.

If you just walk up without having a tour booked you may be able to get a 7 day extension, but in most cases you won't get any extension.
