Itinerary

Day01: Chengdu/Lhasa

Meet at Chengdu Airport in the morning. Fly to Lhasa. Arriving at Lhasa Gongar Airport, meet local guide and transferred to Lhasa city, Check in and have a good rest, Overnight at Lhasa.

Day02: Sightseeing in Lhasa city

After breakfast, drive to visit the wonder of the world - Potala Palace.After lunch , visit Jokhang Temple and Barkhore Street, Overnight at Lhasa.

Day03: Lhasa/Namtso Lake /Yangbache hot-spring/Lhasa

Day tour to Namtso Lake via Yangpachen hot-spring. On the way you will see Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges, and also you will pass the Nagela Pass. Namtso Lake is the sky lake which is one of the three holy lakes, and also the highest salt lake. You can do a bit trekking at the lake side . On the way back , you will have a chance to have hot-spring at Yangbachen. Overnight at Lhasa .

Day04: Lhasa/Yamdrok lake/Gyanstse/Shigatse

Pass Gangbala Pass which is over 5000m, from there you will see Lake Yamdrok which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Then drive back to Qushui, along Nepal friendship way to Gyantse, visit the famous Kumpum stupa in Gyantse. Overnight at Shigatse.

Day05: Shigatse/ Lhatse / New Tinggri (Shegar)/ Rongbuk Monastery / E.B.C

Early morning start driving to Rongbuk via Shegar. The road is a bit rough, on the way you will cross over Gyatsola Pass at 5,220 m, which is the highest enroute.
Rongbuk is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt.Everst. Afternoon start trekking from Rongbuk to E.B.C , it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take animal carriage ( 30rmb/per person). Overynight at E.B.C tent Guesthouse.(dorm beds).

Note: The entrance fee of Mt. Everest Base Camp is 180rmb/per person. Then Entry fee of the Landcruiser to E.B.C. is 405rmb. If the weather is quite there ,you will have a chance to see the sunset.

Day06: Mt. Everest Base Camp / Rongbuk / Shigatse

If you are lucky enough, you will see sunrise at E.B.C. , then go back to rongbuk and start driving back to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.

Day07: Shigatse / Lhasa

Morning visit the Bachen Lama Set - Tashilunpo Monastery , which was Built in1447 by the first Dalai Lama . Afternoon drive back to Lhasa along Yarlong Tsangpo river by the Nepal friendship road. Overnight at Lhasa

Day08:Lhasa/Chengdu

Transferred to the airport and fly back to Chengdu. End the trip.

Notice of Booking

1.Please reserve this tour 1 week in advance in normal time ,2 weeks in advance in Golden week (1st of May - 7th of May , 1st of Oct.- 7th of Oct.)
2.As a foreigner and Taiwanese , Please fax us the copies of your passort and china visa to apply for TTB Permit and PSB 1 -2 week in advance.
3.If the tour suffers from the reason of a force of nature, such as landslide, snowslide, mud-rock flow, flood ,those of kinds of natural calamities or the delay and cancel of airlines...which cause the tour to go through disorderly and add additional fees. According to Tourism Bureau, our agency won't burden these responsibilities.
4.If you cancel the tour or leave it during the trip, our agency will regard your action as own choice and it will automatically void the contract with our company, and you will lose your tour fee.
5.If you want to use single room, it's your responsibility.
6.Please pay before the trip.
7.The program can be customized according to travelers timeframe and requirements.
