Route Feature

Tsedang,Located by Yarlung Valley, is the capital of Shannan Prefecture. It's reputed as "the cradle of Tibetan Civilization", mainly for two reasons: First, the mild weather and fertile land in Shannan gestated the great Tibet dynasty. Second, it's the birthplace of the first Tibetans who were said to be the offspring of a monkey and a demon. So Tsedang literally means "monkey's playground".

D1:Lhasa airport picking up and transfer to Tsedang

Meet our guide at Lhasa Gongar Airport, and drive directly to Tsedang on the Yarlung-Tsangpo river junction.. Afternoon have a good rest to acclimatize. Stay overnight at Tsedang.

D2:Sightseeing in Tsedang

Visit to Yumbulagang Palace, Changzhug Monastery and Tombs of the Tibetan kings. Overnight in Tsedang.

D3:Tsedang - Samye - Lhasa

Visit Samye Monastery.The drive to Lhasa .Overnight in Lhasa.

D4:Sightseeing in Lhasa

Sightseeing in Lhasa city, visit Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace, Barkhor Barzaar. Overnight in Lhasa.

D5:Sightseeing in Lhasa City

In the morning visit Drepung monastery, Sera monastery.Afternoon visit Norbulinkha Palace. Overnight in Lhasa.

D6:Lhasa - Yangbachen - Namtso

Morning drive from Lhasa to Namtso,you may have hot-spring in Yangbache on the way, hiking around Namtso.Overnight at Namtso

D7:Namtso - Lhasa

Morning see the sunrise at Namtso, then drive back to Lhasa.Overnight at Lhasa

D8:Lhasa Airport drop off

Morning drive to Lhasa Gongga airport ,take the flight ,end the trip.
