Day 1 Beijing one day tour
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and
transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the capital city of China.
Day 2 Beijing one day tour
Today's delightful highlights cover the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. You will be suggested to have Beijing Roasted Duck for dinner at a famous restaurant, followed by a lively Peking Opera Show at the Liyuan Theatre.
Day 3 Beijing one day tour
There is an old saying: " He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true man". Today we will visit the Badaling Great Wall. After lunch visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. On the way back, we can overlook both the National Stadium - the " bird Nest" and National Aquatics Center - the Water Cube.
Day 4 Beijing flight to Xi'an
Take a flight from Beijing to Xi'an and transfer to hotel. Visit the City Wall.
Day 5 Xi'an one day tour
After breakfast, we will visit the Eighth Wonder of the World -the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Afeter lunch, visit the Big Goose Pagoda and Banpo Neolithic Village Museum. In the evening, you can choose to enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.
Day 6 Xi'an flight to Chongqing
Take a flight from Xi'an to Chongqing. Visit the Great Hall, Yangtze River Museum and Hongyadong Park if time permits. In the evening, board on the American Victoria. Departs Chongqing at 21:00pm.
Day 7 Have your tour on the cruise
In the afternoon, go ashore to visit Fengdu, the "Ghost City", where the Chinese believe the soul of the dead goes. The balance of the day is free to explore the ship's many amenities. Tonight, you are our guests at the captain's cocktail party. Alternate shore excursion may visit Shibaozhai or Wanzhou.
Day 8 Have your tour on the cruise
Cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge ,framed by steep mossy cliffs. Then, sail on through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong, transfer to a small cruiser for an exciting excursion on Shenlong Stream to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next, sail through Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic Three Gorges Ship Lock. Alternately shore excursion may visit Daning River.
Day 9 Yichang- Beijing
This morning, stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam Project, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Disembark Yichang about 15:30pm. Then transfer to airport, fly to Beijing. End the trip.
