Day 1: Arrival in Xining(D)
Fly to Xining and transfer to visit Ta'er Monastery (known as Kumbum in Tibetan) which is the birth place of the founder of the Yellow Sect (also called Gelu Sect) Tsong Khapa. In the Tibetan language, Ta'er Monastery is called "gongben" which means 100, 000 figures of Buddha. You can appreciate the famous butter sculptures, the barbolas, and the murals. then back to Xining.

Day 2: Xining- Huzhu-Datong-Xining(BLD)
Road condition:paved, light traffic, first section is 30km, varying between flat and uphill, the rest of the road is flat and/or downhill

After breakfast,we will drive to appreciate the Anzhao Dance and Lunziqiu by the Tu Nationality of Huzhu, at the same time, taste the local wine and snack. Then accompanied by our support vehicle ride from Huzhu to Nanmen Gorge. (30km) to Datong via Wufeng temple. (45km) .
Day 3: Xining-Xunhua(BLD)
Road condition: paved, light traffic, a dozen hills, each with a gentle gradient

After breakfast, drive to Xunhua. Xunhua is the only county of Sala peole, and Wendu village is the home town of the 10th Banchan Lama, head of that school and the whole of Vajrayana, or Tibetan, Buddhism; Along the way cycling to Gongbo Gorge hydropower station (10km) located on the upper reaches of the Yellow River. Then drive to Xunhua county,after lunch ,cycling tour along the Yellow River (20 km).
Day 4: Xunhua-Tongren(BLD)
Road condition: paved, several uphill and downhill sections.

After breakfast,then cycle from Xunhua to Tongren (40km). There are stunning landscapes and some interesting Hui villages(Chinese Muslim) .
Day 5: Tongren Sightseeing(BLD)
Tongren (known as Rebkong inTibetan) is a mid-sized town famous across Tibet for its Thangka. Some of the best artists in Tibet live in Rebkong, pictured above, and make a good living from their paintings. Thangka's from Rebkong can be found in Tibetan Buddhist monasteries across the globe. There are several places where you can buy thangka's and even see artist's painting them. Rebkong has 3 large monasteries in its vicinity. Gomar, Wutun and Rongwo are brightly painted monasteries with rows of prayer wheels lining them.
Day 6: Tongren - Xining (BLD)

Cycling from Tongren to Shuangpengxi Tibetan Village, also know as the largest danxia landform and famous summer resort in Tongren. Danxia landform named in China, consisting of red bed characterized by steep cliffs, is a unique type of petrographic geomorphology. (10 km)
Day 7: Xining-Qinghai Lake(BLD)
Road condition: paved, several uphill and downhill sections.

Drive to Qinghai Lake (KoKoNor Lake) and start cycling tour from Dock to Er langjian (34 km, round way).
Day 8: Qinghai Lake-Xining(BLD)
Road condition:paved, heavy traffic for the most of the day, first section is 10km, varying between flat and uphill, the rest of the road is flat and/or downhill

Cycling along the east shore of Qinghai Lake to Xihai via sand island. Then Drive to Xining. Share memory with your cycling buddies at the special arranged farewell dinner. (60km)
Day 9: Xining Departure(B)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at hotel, then send you to the airport and take your flight to the next destination.
