How to book a tour and pay to us?

After receiving your inquiry, we will work out an ideal tour itinerary and price with full understanding of your requirements (we might have more questions). When it finally meets your satisfaction, it's time for you to book your Tibet trip with us. Here are some easy steps to book a tour with CITS:



1. State in an email to tell us that you accept the tour itinerary and price we provided (together with inclusions and exclusions);



2. Reservations and Payments


a. We suggest you book your tour at least 45 days before your arrival date, especially for the peak season of August and September. A deposit of $200 per person is required to secure your reservation when you confirm your trip with us. The balance can be paid when you arrive at Chengdu Office. Or if you don't come to Chengdu , it should be paid in full no later than 15 days prior to your arrival in Tibet.

b. If the booking is made within 30 days but 15 days prior to your arrival in Lhasa, you are required to pay 50% of the total payment to secure your reservation when you confirm your trip with us. The balance can be paid when you arrive at Chengdu Office. Or If you don't come to Chengdu , it should be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to your arrival in Tibet.

c. If the booking is made within 15 days prior to your arrval in Lhasa, you are required to pay in full payment.

If your tour package includes train tickets or air tickets, you are kindly required to pay 100% of train fare or air fare additionally.

Before you pay deposite to us, please read carefully our Policy & Terms firstly. Once you transfer money to us, we regard you agree with our policy and can follow it.



3. How to make payment to us?
Thank you for choosing CITS as your tour operator. The best way to send money to us is by wire transfer through a bank.

Paying us by wire transfer is easy and quick. Your money can be wired to our bank accounts from any bank.

When you are abroad,please use this information, we can get your depoist immediately.

Privacy and Confidentiality Statement


Chinayak do respects our client's privacy and we'll do our best to protect your security and confidentiality very seriously.
 
1. Chinayak will only collect the personal information that relevant to help our guest to complete the payment.
 
2. Chinayak may probably transfer your personal information to the Autopay Agent, but the transfer is subject to the scope of law.
 
3. Chinayak will take our responsibility to protect our client's security and confidentiality very seriously. Any unauthorized personnel have no access to our guests' information.
 
4. The Personal / Credit card information our clients submitted to us via the web-forms, e-mail ,telephone, fax, or any other manners, is only used to arrange the tour you book with Chinayak, and will never be sold, rented, shared or passed on to any unauthorized third-party.
 
Our Goal is to do our best to make our client' s China/Tibet tour go smoothly, and share the unforgettable memories with you!



4. At the time you pay the deposit, we also need some information of every member in order to apply for your PSB or TTB permit:
- full name;
- gender;
- date of birth;
- passport number;
- nationality;
- all exactly the same as on your passport. And you need to tell us your occupation because journalists and people that could be involved in political matters could be revoked (they need more complicated procedure to get a permit). * Please fax or email a clear copy of each member's passport and China visa to us at (86)28-85531566.

5. Once we received your deposit, we will make all the reservations according to your itinerary within one week. We will send you a confirmation letter when all the bookings are secured. At this time all you need is to pack up for your lifetime trip to Tibet!

 

6. Cancellation refunds

We would feel sorry if you decide to cancel your trip to China/Tibet, however we understand it is compelled against your will.
 
If the client cancels the trip, the client must notify us by mail or by fax. We calculate your refund on the day when we receive the written cancellation by Beijing time. The refund to the client will be processed within 20 days of receipt of your cancellation.
 
The reservation deposit of USD200.00 per person is non-refundable if the client makes cancellation of the tour but it may be applied for your next trip within 12 months. The reservation deposit will not be calculated into the charge of the cancellation percentage.
The cancellation fee will be a certain percentage of the land tour price as follows:
 
Up to 15 days before departure-----------USD200.00 per person
15-7 days before departure-------------30% of the tour cost
6-3 days before departure--------------50% of the tour cost
2 days or less, or no show--------------100% of the tour cost
 
After the tour begins, any extra charges caused by clients' changes will be added, as tickets cancellation fee, hotel cancellation penalty, etc. Any unused portion is neither refundable nor exchangeable.
 
If we have to cancel the tour due to the circumstances beyond our control, such as Weather, political upheavals, Air/Rail Transportation Company etc., we will endeavor to find an alternative tour for the clients or refund all money paid. A full refund will constitute final settlement for the clients; our Company shall not be held responsible for any expenses that may have incurred as a result of the client's booking.
 
If a tourist has to leave his tour group because of accident, injury, or serious illness, a refund of 50% of the unused tour fare shall be made to the tourist.
 
We are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
