Potala Palace decorated for Losar

The Potala Palace Square and its surrounding streets have been decorated for the upcoming Tibetan Water-Dragon New Year with a happy fetival atmosphere. This year, the Tibetan New Year (Losar in Tibetan) falls on Feb 22.
A large Chemar, a specialty for Tibetan New Year standing for a bumper harvest, is placed on the Potala Palace Square.
