Backpackers pile into Tibet
Time: 2012/7/16
A lack of preparation is behind potential risks for feverish young backpackers heading towards Tibet along the fascinating route of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, Voice of China reported.
The Hoh Xil’s Sanandaj Natural Protection Station has been receiving young travelers seeking shelter once or twice a week in July, when summer vacation began. Some of them were exhausted and ailing. Some were caught unawares by the foul weather and others ran out of money and food.
