Desert turning into oasis on north bank of Yarlung Zangbo River
Time: 2012/7/19
The desertified land on the bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River in Tibet's Lhoka Prefecture has been well managed through tree and grass planting, straw checkerboards, sand blocking wall, gravel keeping sand and other measures. With the environment improved, the trend of desertification has been effectively curbed, and an oasis has been gradually formed.
