582000 visitors went to Tibet during holiday

2012-10-8,according to the Tourism Bureau of Autonomous Region,tourist reception of this region has lasted the fast growth momentum since this year,which made the best level during the same period of the past.According to statistics,the whole autonomous region accepted 582000 visitors from 9-30 to 10-7,22.8% higher than the same period of last year. The total tourisim income reached 247 million yuan,which increased 29% year-over-year.

According to the principal of the Tourism Bureau,the traditional hot scenic spots are still popular,Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Namtso, Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon are the main tour destinations for visiters.Lhasa city and suburban one-day tour, etc jaunt are deeply popular with visitors.We can see that tourists' consumption is more and more rational from the tourist market.
