A Chinese rescue team to reach lost Australian tourists in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Oct. 17,two tourists from Australia entered Haixi Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture on bicycle and then got lost near Zhuonai Lake in Hoh Xil Nature Reserve on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
Oct. 21,a Chinese rescue team,consisting of five police officers, two doctors and a telecommunications technician, on Sunday is expected to reach them who have been stranded in Qinghai Province for five days.The rescue team has walked 40 km to get closer to the two tourists,and they are expected to reach them around 2 p.m.
In the latest contact made on Sunday morning, the two tourists said they were in fine physical conditions. Rescuers told them to stay put and await rescue.
