Everest Tourist Express Train to Lhasa operating since 26th May, 2013
The special tourist train bound for Lhasa from Xining named as “Everest†and will be in operation since 26th May, 2013, end at 29th September, 2013, only in peak season.
The 'Everest' tourist train is an aerobic train. It is spacious, comfortable and can carry 600 passengers. Both hard and soft sleeper berths are available on the train. Besides, full-time tour guides and professional doctors are also available on the special tourist train to Lhasa. Travelers can enjoy physical examination for free.
The train departs every third days from Xining, for instance,the first depart time is on 26th May, the second will be 29th May. On the other side connect to Lhasa, the first train to Xining will be 27th May, and then the second train will be on 30th May.
