5 hours reachNyingchi from Lhasa

The project on construction of facilities of high-class highway between Lhasa and Nyingchi started since 23rd May, 2013

The highway designed Bayi town of Nyingchi as the start point, will coverd 409.2KM, via 4 counties and more than 10 towns and get its way to Lhasa. The highway was designed as a bidirectional four lane highway, the design speed reachs 80km/h. Otherwise the highway between the two travel time of more than eight hours from the shortened to 5 hours, saving up to 3 hours.

Nyingchi has been tourist hot spot for its fairytale landscape, there is no doubt the highway will bring prosperity to the land.
