Day 1 Receiving you from Lhasa airport or Train station.
Our agency will arrange a local Tibetan english speaking tour guide and a driver to receive you from the airport or train station to your reserved hotel in Lhasa.


Day 2 Visiting Potala Palace, Jokhang and Barkhor street.

In the morning, you are going to visit the famous Patala Palace, which is the land mark of lhasa and is recently considered one of the seven wonders of the world. Afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple which is grouped into world cultural heritage list by the UNESCO. Then explore the famous old Barkhor street, enjoy shoping traditional Tibetan things around the street. Overnight in Lhasa.



Day 3 Rediscovering Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery.

Exploring chapels of Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. Today, you will visit the whole chapels of Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery as it would be closed for the main day. Drepung and Monastery are situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. The monastery is divided into two different colleges. The Ganden podrang is famous among them as it is the government centre during fifth Dalai lama and later moved to the famous Potala Palace during fifth Dalai lama. In the afternoon, explor the Sera Monastery which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa, disciple Jamchen Choeje. You can also see monks debaiting there in the courtyard at around 4-5:30 in the afternoon. Overnight in Lhasa.



Day 4 Visit Norbulingka and Ramoche Monastery.

Norbulingkha is Tibetan word refers to "Treasure garden" lies at western supurbs of Lhasa with 2km from Potala Palace is listed as the world cultural heritage by the UNESCO. The Norbulingkha is called summer palace and built by the seventh Dalai lama in mid 18th century. Later became the place where the successive Dalai lamas study and stay during summer time. Then in aftrnoon, visit Ramoche Temple which lies about 500m to the north of the Jokhang Monastery. The sacred sculpture of Sakyamuni that built for Ramoche Monastery and later moved into the Jokhang Monastery.



Day 5 Moving towards the Namtso Lake and overnight in Damxung county.

Namtso is Tibetan word, means heavenly lake situated in Damxung county with about 240km from Lhasa. The lake is 70km long, 30km in wide, 35m deep and is second largest lake in China. The melted snow and ice of the Nyenchen Thangla mountains forms the water supply of Namtso. Through this journey you can see the most famous ice-capped Nyenchen Thangla mountain ranges and Yangpachen geothermal power station and hot spring pool. Also posture land where the nomads gaze their animals and you feels like the whole posture is dotted with yaks. Drive back to Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa.



Day 6 Driving towards the Nachu horse racing and relax a night in Nachu county.

It's about 4 hours' driving towards Nachu and during driving, you will see the famous snow-capped Tangula ranges upto Nachu. You will come in contact with the life of Tibetan nomads with their domestic animals dotted the pasture land. Qinghai-Tibet Train track is running parellel making an excellent scennery.


 

Day 7 Back to lhasa

Drive back to Lhasa and rest at the hotel. Overnight in Lhasa.


Day 8 Packing your luggages and ready to leave Tibet

The driver and your tour guide will see off you to the airport or train station and you are going to leave unforgetable Tibet.
