8 day tour to Lhasa/Namsto/Nyingchi/Shigatse

Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa

Arrive in Lhasa, pick you up and transfer to hotel and overnight in Lhasa.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Lhasa city

After breakfast, drive to visit the wonder of the world- Potala Palace (3700 m )(1.5 hours ). After lunch,visit Jokhang Temple (1 hour ) and Barkhore Street. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 3: Lhasa/Namtso Lake/Yangbache hot-spring/Lhasa (4-5 hours driving)

Day tour to Namtso Lake (4718m) via Yangpachen hot-spring. On the way you will see Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain rangesand also you will pass the Nagela Pass (5190m). Namtso Lake is the sky lake which is one of the three holy lakes, and also the highest salt lake. You can do a bit trekking at the lake side. On the way back, you will have a chance to have hot-spring at Yangbachen(4320m). Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 4: Lhasa/Nyingchi/Draksum Tso/Bayi (8 hours driving, road condition is good)

After breakfast, drive from Lhasa to Nyingchi . On the way you will pass Mila Pass, enjoy the scenery along the Niyang River. Afternoon drive to visit Draksum Tso (3470m). Overnight in Bayi Town (3400m).

Day 5: Bayi/Cypress Forest/Lhasa (7 hours' driving)

Drive to visit Ancient Cypress Forests and also you will have a chance to see Lulang Forest far away from Lulang Sightseeing Plat, afternoon drive back to Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 6: Lhasa/Yamdrok lake/Shigatse (7 hours driving)

Pass Gangbala Pass which is over 5000m, from there you will see Lake Yamdrok (4441m) which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. after visit Pelkor codle in Gyangtse (3980m), Then drive to Shigatse (3840m). Overnight at Shigatse.

Day 7: Shigatse/TashiLumpo Monastery/Lhasa (8 hours' driving)

Visit the TashiLumpo Monastery which was Built in1447 by the first Dalai Lama, and also local tibetan market in the morning. After lunch, drive back to Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa city.

Day 8: Lhasa departure
