Xining to Lhasa train

Xining to Lhasa train,one of the three initial railway routes of Qinghai-Tibet Railway,the distance between Xining and Lhasa is 1972km/1233miles,if you want to travel Tibet by train,Xining to Lhasa train route would be the best choice,only need around 22 hours.

Up to now,the two train lines running directly between Shanghai and Lhasa is Z6801 & Z6802; Z6801 starts from Xining Railway Station,ends in Lhasa Railway Station,Z6802 starts from Lhasa,ends in Xining Railway Station, the 5 midway stations connecting Xining and Lhasa is:Delingha,Golmud,Amdo,Nagqu,Damxung.
