When traveling to the TAR, do I need to be on a group tour?
No, there is no need to travel in a group when going to the TAR. Solo travelers can go to the TAR, though you still need to be part of an organized tour that includes travel permits, a tour guide and a private vehicle with a driver. Many people prefer to travel with a small group of 2 or 3 in order to share the cost of the required guide and private vehicle.Relevant Updated
