Tibet Attractions - Lhasa
- Ramoche Temple
Ramoche, a Buddhist monastery located in the north part of Lhasa city, is considered the most important temple in Lhasa after the Jokhang Temple. It was constructed around 7th century (around the same time as Jokhang), but more Chinese style.
- The Gyume
The Gyume or Lower Tantric College, located on the opposite side of the Kirey Hotel in East Beijing Road, is situated as a sister college to the Upper Tantric College. It is easy to miss shi working temple; look for an imposing entrance set back from the road. It is a surprisingly impressive place and little visited by foreigners.
- Tibet Museum
Tibet Museum is in the west of Lhasa city just opposite the Norbulingka. It covers an area of 23,508 square meters and equipped with modern facilities to ensure quality service for visitors and safety.
