Attention：From August 30th to Sep 7th, Tibet Tourism Bureau won't accept permit applications because they will have their holiday for Shoton Festival. Travellers who are about to travel to Tibet and apply Tibet permits during that period please take special notice that you have to shift to an earlier date.
And during Shoton if you have any after-Shoton tour request, you can contact us as usual, our travel service still run on the rails.

New rules for foreign tourists to Lhasa:
1.All tours to Tibet must be arranged before arriving in Lhasa.
2.Everyone must be in a package tour group,no individual permit will be issued.
3.Drepung, Ganden, Tsurphu monasteries in Lhasa, Samye and Yongbulakang in Tsedang are not opened yet.

After 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, you can catch the Shoton Festival in Tibet from August 30 through September 5. This traditional festival held at Potala square celebrates the monks’return from summer meditation retreats.
